Emmeline stops and looks sacredly into the water. It’s full of blood.
She puts her hands in the water and pulls them out to be sure, and then cries out.]]]
EMMELINE: Richard! Help! Help! Help, Richard, help!
[[[Richard runs up to the edge of a cliff and looks down on Emmeline in the pool.
It takes him a moment to see the blood.]]]
